I began working as a lifeguard when I was 17. Lifeguarding helped me pay for university. When worked as an Application Scientist for an instrumentation company. I traveled around North America installing systems, troubleshooting problems, and teaching users how to navigate the software and make the most of their equipment. After having kids, travelling a moments notice became significantly harder.
I quickly realized that the part of my job I liked the most was helping people; helping people learn and helping people work through problems.
