I hope you were able to enjoy the weekend with friends and family and lots of fun. Here’s a glimpse into our weekend.
Welcome to October. I’m in shock we are already here. There is so much going on right now with the kids, both school and extracurricular activities, work, and trying to keep the house running.
I would like to say that because school has been back in session for about a month we are well into our new routines. I'd like to be able to say that but I can't. This week has K's bus coming 15 minutes earlier and swim practices are back in full force which means it's back to carpooling. Add piano practice, tuba practice, and homework means we are scrambling.
Meal planning would make my life so much easier but I'm terrible at it. I don't like deciding what we are going to eat too far in advance because, what if I'm not in the mood for what I've planned? It's sort of ridiculous because it really would make things much smoother. I've sketched out the rest of this week's meals:
